Thanks to everyone who has replied. I'm going to try
to get another part out tonight. If I don't I'm
afraid that this will be it until Tuesday at the
earliest.

The White House

As Leo returned to his office, he could hear his
assistant Margaret speaking on the phone with someone.

"... he just walked in. I'll let you speak with
him."

"Who is it, Margaret?"

"Mallory"

Leo walked into his office, and picked up the phone.

"Hey, sweetheart."

"Are you okay, Dad?"

"Yeah, I'm fine."

"Good. Now will you explain to me why you neglected
to call and tell me that?"

"Mallory--"

"Don't 'Mallory' me. Why didn't you call and tell me
you were okay?!"
"There were things that I had to take care of here."

"Where those things more important than telling your
family that you were okay?!!"

"No, but this is the FIRST chance that I've had to
sit down since I got back here>"

Just then Margaret came into the office.

"Leo, I am sorry to interrupt you, but the First Lady
is on line two."

"Okay. Margaret, can you notify the staff that I
want to meet with them at 5 a.m. if not before then."

"Yeah"

"Mallory, listen, Abby is on the other line. I have
to take this call, okay."

"Okay, I love you, Daddy."

"Love you too, sweetheart."

Leo stared at the television for a moment, and then
picked up the other line.

"How is he, Abby?"
