NOTES: See Part 1, Thanks to Dallas for helping me right a lot of this stuff. I've never been to a Jewish wedding, but I'm told they're basically the same except for the glass.
SUMMARY: KD has come home but what happens now?

"Okay. I can breathe. I have a nose, a mouth, lungs, all the necessary components. So why can't I breathe?" KD asked as she looked pointedly at Abbey. The first lady chuckled and put her hands on KD's shoulders. "In through the nose, out through the mouth. You're going to be just fine, okay?" She said softly.

"I know, doc. I know. I just... I'm nervous. I hope this goes right. That's all." KD admitted. "You know that feeling you get when it feels like your lungs are imploding?" Abbey smiled and nodded.

"Yeah, I know, sweetie. You're gonna do great." She assured her.

"I know. I can still be nervous though. I just want to make Toby happy and I still feel bad." KD admitted. Abbey smiled and brushed the hair out of KD's eyes. The door behind them opened and CJ and Donna moved in, wearing light blue bridesmaid's dresses.

"Is she still freaking out?" CJ teased.

"Be quiet or I'll kick Danny out." KD retorted. CJ chuckled.

"You wouldn't and you know it." She teased again. KD shrugged and looked at the mirror. Her white gown didn't spread too far from her body and she liked it that way. She was never one for wearing dresses, but this was a special occasion and she wanted Toby to be surprised. She'd put the down payment on the dress three months ago, and now here she was, wearing it and getting ready to walk down the ever-famous aisle.

"You ready to do this?" Abbey asked softly. KD looked at her and smiled.

"I don't know, but I'm eager to." She replied softly.

"You want to talk to Leo?" Abbey asked. KD nodded.

"Yes, please." She whispered. Abbey nodded and followed CJ and Donna back out the door.

"Toby, will you leave the damn thing alone?" Josh asked as he slapped at Toby's hands. Toby shook his head and went back to straightening his friend's bow tie. "It's straight!" Josh insisted.

"But it could be straighter." Toby muttered nervously. He played with the tie some more and then jerked on it a little. Josh gasped for air.

"Aaahh." Josh tried to mutter.

"Don't do that. Stop that 'aaahh' thing." Toby muttered as he kept fidgeting with the tie.

"You're cutting off my air." Josh managed to groan. Toby looked at his friend's face and saw it turning red.

"Oh, sorry about that." He said as he let go. "Been wanting to do that for a while." He joked softly. Josh played with the tie and loosened it.

"See, now you've get it crooked again." Toby started as he reached forward.

Josh's hands flew up protectively around his neck.

"Get away from my tie." He hissed. Toby glared at him.

"Katy?" Leo's soft voice exclaimed. KD looked around and saw him as he stepped into the room. He smiled widely as he saw her twirl in the dress.

"You look beautiful, kid." He whispered. She smiled and nodded.

"Thank you, dad." She replied. He stepped forward and cupped a hand to her cheek.

"Wow, you've grown up so fast." He said softly.

"I vaguely remember you guys telling me that I had to learn to grow up, don't I?" KD teased.

"That was a year ago and you've come a long way." He assured her. "I'm proud of you." KD smiled and tears started to come to her eyes. Leo blinked his own back as he pulled her into a hug.

"It feels good to hear that, dad." She whispered as she hugged him back.

"I've always been proud of you." He replied softly.

"Oh, dad." She whispered.

"Don't ever forget it." He added. "And I know you and Toby are going to be happy. I know it. You guys are perfect for each other and I'm glad you're doing this." He said softly. She looked him in the eye and nodded.

"I think I may be ready for this now." She told him. "Are you?"

"To give my little girl away? Never." Leo said softly. "But to have the honor of giving away the beautiful woman I see before me, yes, I think I am."

He replied honestly. KD laughed and hugged him again.

"This is the first day of the rest of my life." She whispered.

"And it's going to be a good one." He assured her.

"Let's do this." She whispered.

"Josh, is your tie crooked again?" Toby asked.

"No!" Josh snapped.

"Are you sure, because it looks crooked from here." Toby started.

"It looks fine." Jed exclaimed as he walked up to them.

"Thank you, Mr. President." Josh said with relief.

"You actually trust his opinion?" Toby asked playfully.

"Toby. Calm down. That's an order." Jed interrupted. "You'll do fine."

"Yes, you will." Josh chorused. Toby nodded and tried to figure out what to do with his hands.

"You just wait, Josh. Your turn is coming up." Jed remarked with a grin.

Josh paled a little and smiled.

"Then *I'm* gonna be closing off *Toby's* air passage." He replied weakly.

"Not if I break your hands." Toby said sweetly. Josh groaned.

"You guys aren't making me feel very good about this." He whimpered.

"Hey, this is *my* wedding here." Toby interrupted.

"Yeah, but you've done this before." Josh pointed out.

"Don't remind me." Toby growled.

"Sorry." Josh whimpered, realizing his mistake.

"Don't look now, but I do believe the organist is getting ready." Jed announced as he took his place with them. Sam moved up next to them as he tried to straighten his tie.

"You have a nice time talking to Mallory?" Josh asked playfully as he kept his eye on the end of the aisle.

"Shut up, Josh." Sam muttered.

"All of you shut up." Toby added softly but sharply.

"Toby, breathe." Jed said softly as Donna appeared at the end of the aisle and slowly began walking towards them. "This is a good thing." He added. Josh nodded his agreement as he locked gazes with Donna.

"A very good thing." Toby whispered. Behind Donna, CJ appeared and the music continued steadily. Jed smiled like an idiot as Abbey appeared behind CJ and started down the walk. As Abbey arrived, the music changed and Josh watched Toby take a deep breath. Then there she was. The organist smiled and the guests rose to their feet. Danny looked back at KD who was standing at the end of the aisle, her arm linked with Leo's as the recognizable notes to 'Here comes the Bride' filled the room. Danny smiled and remembered, perhaps fondly, perhaps mournfully, but still he smiled as she started down the aisle. KD smiled as she met Toby's gaze and all the thoughts of the past year came rushing to her head. Toby smiled back at her and stopped rocking on his feet, his nervousness suddenly flooding away from him.

And then she was there, standing in front of him as Leo lifted her veil and kissed her on the cheek. She smiled at her father and then looked at Toby who took her hand in his. Here they were. Toby wanted to hold her closer as their eyes locked but there would be time for that later. Instead, now they faced Rabbi Glassman who smiled at them both.

"We are gathered here today, friends and family all, to witness the joining of this man and this woman in the bonds of holy matrimony." He started proudly. "If there is anyone who believes that they should not be conjoined, let them speak now or forever hold their peace." He announced. Silence filled the room. Toby smiled at KD and exhaled slowly. Glassman nodded and looked back at the happy couple. "Who stands ready to give this woman away?"

"I do." Leo exclaimed as he straightened his back in pride. KD smiled inwardly and squeezed Toby's hand. Leo nodded to the Rabbi and then took a seat next to Jeri.

"Very well then. Let us begin. If you will take hands and face each other." The rabbi requested. Toby took both KD's hands in his and faced her, their eyes locking happily. "Toby Ziegler, do you take this woman to be your lawfully wedded wife, to have and to hold, honor and cherish, to love and protect for as long as you both shall live?"

"I do." Toby promised softly.

"Kathryn Brody, do you take this man to be your lawfully wedded husband, to have and to hold, honor and cherish, to love and protect for as long as you both shall live?" Glassman asked.

"I do." KD swore as a tear came to her eye.

"The bond of the wedding ring is the visual representation of your loves for each other. They represent the unending cycle of life and love that you two share. May we have the rings, please?" The rabbi requested. KD turned to CJ who handed her a ring while Toby turned to get his from Josh. Josh patted his sides in confusion and then smiled weakly, presenting Toby with the ring and receiving a glare for his not-so-funny joke. Toby resisted the urge to stomp on Josh's foot and turned to face KD again. She was smiling weakly and could barely keep it that way with Jed slapped Josh gently upside the head. "Toby, take her hand in yours and repeat after me: With this ring, I thee wed." Glassman instructed. Toby smiled as he took KD's left hand in his and slid the ring on.

"With this ring, I thee wed." He said tenderly.

"Katy, take his hand in yours and repeat after me: With this ring, I thee wed." Glassman repeated. KD slid the ring on to Toby's hand with a fond smile and another tear in her eye.

"With this ring, I thee wed." She said softly.

"Then by the power vested in me by God and the District of Columbia, I pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss your bride." Glassman exclaimed.

Toby slipped his arms around KD and pulled her into a gentle yet deep kiss. The guests rose to their feet with applause as the happy couple held on to each other tightly. Josh stepped forward and placed a drinking glass wrapped in cloth before his best friend. Toby smiled and pressed his foot down to the glass. The crowd cheered as the glass shattered and Toby took KD in his arms again, moving to lead her out of the temple.
