Zoey couldn't believe what Donna had just said. Donna wanted her to run for President and was waiting for a decision. "WHat makes you think I will get the nomination?" Zoey asks "I have a plan. Were going to follow the path that led to your father's winning. Once you announce you will get a lot of attention from the media and will lead the polls. I have numbers that show that you would be in the lead." Donna says as she shows Zoey a poll that CJ and Toby's had done. Zoey read the mumbers. " A 5 point lead in the south. That's impossible. No liberal can win in the south." Zoey says. "You would. Southern blacks woud rally to you. Having a black husband and having been the victim of racism would gain you votes in the SOuth and in the Urban areas. THat would help in New York ." Donna responds. "You make it sosund so easy?" Zoey says. "Its not. You need to do well in Iowa. You will have to finsh no lower then third. You will win New Hamshpire big. WHen we move down south it will be a battle between you and Seantor Mcculough. He will win but i see you finshing a close second. Then we move North. You will win the northern Super Tuesday and then New York. California will be the key." DOnna says "GOverner Barron will win there. He controls that state and he is running as a favorite son." Zoey says. "Not if you run. He is willing to support you." Donna informs Zoey. "WHat are the terms?" Zoey asks. "He wants someone from Calofrina to be onthe ticket as your vice President." Donna says. "I can't support such a deal Donna." Zoey says. "I told him that Zoey." He wasn't happy but he will stay out of the race. With himout you lead there to. That gives you the nomaniation." DOnna says "ZOey, Your the only canidate that will unify the party. If you in many people will rally around you. If you don't then we will be divided and we can't win." Donna says. "I need time. I need to talk to Charlie about this." Zoey says. "Josh is already talking to him about it." Domma says. "I will call you and let you know." Zoey says. Zoey gives Donna a hug as she leaves for home.
